In my newsletters I frequently sing the praises of mixed breed dogs, especially those from shelters. I don't want to ignore my readers who choose to pursue a purebred dog for their family. In some cases the search leads families to look for their next pet through a breeder. However, doing so involves lots of research to ensure that you are making the right decision for the happiness of you and your new dog.
